The Florida Gators football continued to build momentum on the recruiting trail Monday, landing a major commitment from blue-chip offensive lineman Peyton Miller.
Miller, a 6-foot-5, roughly 290-pound standout from Anna, Texas, is widely regarded as the No. 1 center in the 2027 recruiting class. He chose Florida over several top programs, including Texas Tech, Clemson, and SMU, after making multiple visits during the spring.
The four-star prospect is ranked among the top 100 players nationally and brings versatility to the offensive line, with the ability to play both center and guard at the college level. His size, athleticism, and multi-sport background—also competing in wrestling and track—make him one of the most coveted interior linemen in the cycle.
Miller’s commitment adds to a strong surge for Florida’s 2027 class, particularly in the trenches. He joins five-star offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller as part of a growing group aimed at rebuilding the program’s offensive front.
New head coach Jon Sumrall has made offensive line recruiting a clear priority, and Miller’s pledge signals that strategy is paying off. With multiple recent commitments, the Gators are quickly assembling one of the more impressive early classes in the 2027 cycle.
