The Florida Gators football continued a strong run on the recruiting trail, landing three new commitments for their 2027 class in a short span—highlighting growing momentum under head coach Jon Sumrall.
Four-star wide receiver Anthony Jennings (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) and four-star offensive lineman Peyton Miller (Anna, Texas) headline the group, giving Florida major boosts on both sides of the offensive ball. Miller, in particular, is regarded as one of the top interior linemen in his class, underscoring the Gators’ emphasis on building strength in the trenches.
They’re joined by three-star defensive lineman De’Voun Kendrick from Tampa, who becomes an important in-state addition on defense. Kendrick chose Florida after the program built strong momentum in his recruitment and beat out several other contenders.
The trio of commitments came within just a few days of each other, reflecting a surge in recruiting success. Their additions have already helped push Florida higher in national recruiting rankings and solidify a class that continues to gain traction early in the cycle.
Overall, this mini recruiting haul signals that Florida is not just adding talent—but stacking key positions with high-upside prospects, positioning the program for long-term success.
