If there was any doubt before, there is none now. The Ohio State basketball team is firmly cemented in the NCAA Tournament. The No. 8 seed Buckeyes got a bit of revenge in taking down Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament after falling to the Hawkeyes just two weeks ago.
The prize for Ohio State? No. 1 seed and arch-rival Michigan. The Wolverines have been one of the top teams in all of basketball this season, spending several weeks ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation. Twice this season, the Buckeyes have had a chance to take Michigan down, and twice they have failed to do so. OSU was able to keep things close in the first matchup, but the second time around, the Maize and Blue embarrassed the Bucks on their home court. But this is March, and anything can happen.
