REPORT: Hull City 0-0 Millwall – Lions pick up first point on the road

MILLWALL collected a first Championship point and clean sheet after drawing 0-0 at Hull City this lunchtime.

The Lions had the better chances and will consider themselves unfortunate not to claim a first win, but there was still a lot to like about today’s display.

Japhet Tanganga’s return from suspension was a welcome one for a defence which has shipped seven goals in the first two Chapionship fixtures.

Shaun Hutchinson dropped to the bench as a result of Neil Harris’ one change to the starting XI.

Also among the substitutes were new signing Femi Azeez and Murray Wallace, who was available for the first time this season after recovering from injury.

Tom Bradshaw headed over early on after rising high to connect with George Honeyman’s early corner.

A good counter attack saw Joe Bryan win possession just inside the Hull half. Bryan released Honeyman, who found Duncan Watmore and his shot was deflected behind.REPORT: Hull City 0-0 Millwall – Lions pick up first point on the road – Southwark News

Romain Esse saw an attempt blocked and then Jake Cooper went close with a header that went agonisingly wide from Watmore’s delivery in a decent spell of early pressure from the visitors
