In the closing moments of the summer transfer window, Leeds United is closely monitoring a possible new attacker as they try to improve their roster in an effort to earn promotion from the Championship.
Leeds has had a poor start to the campaign.
The team led by Daniel Farke did not have a good start to the Championship season and has not yet won a game.
Georginio Rutter is the most recent departure in a summer marred by departures; the Frenchman is expected to sign a record-breaking £40 million contract to join Brighton.
Leeds began the season with a 3-3 draw with Portsmouth after rallying for a late equalizer. They then lost 3-0 at home to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup first round and drew 0-0 with West Bromwich Albion, the team from last season’s playoffs. After two games, Leeds is now four points behind Watford and Burnley in the Championship.
