Rangers v St Johnstone being played at 8pm on a Sunday is horrible news for both sets of fans, believes Four Lads Had a Dream.
Gers made an official announcement on 4 September that the game will be played at Ibrox on 6 October.
That’s because the Great Scottish Run is taking place in Glasgow on that day, making it impossible to host the game in the afternoon.

Rangers v St Johnstone to take place at the cost of the fans
The late kickoff on a Sunday disrupts the typical weekend routine for fans, making it harder to plan travel, especially for those travelling from afar or abroad.
This timing can lead to logistical nightmares, with public transport potentially running on reduced Sunday schedules or even shutting down earlier, which could strand fans or force them to incur extra costs for taxis or private transport.
Additionally, the presence of the Great Scottish Run complicates matters further as the event’s logistics could lead to road closures and increased traffic, exacerbating travel times and congestion around Ibrox.
This combination not only affects the ability to get to and from the game efficiently but also dampens the overall match day experience, turning what should be an exciting event into a logistical hassle for fans.
