Maurice Ross slams BBC journalist over word used to describe Rangers

Tom English was harsh in his review of Rangers’ game against Dundee United, which made Maurice Ross angry.

On September 15, a BBC Scotland reporter wrote on X that the Gers’ play was “jittery” and that the win made Philippe Clement “relieved but hardly encouraged.”

Ross, a former Light Blues defender, replied with a happy message about the win away at Tangerines on September 15.

And he asked, “Jittery?” Full control of skilled work. United looked terrible and lacked any creativity.

The Gers are back to winning ways after their disappointing loss last time out in the Old Firm at Parkhead.

If that performance was unprofessional and embarrassing, the showing at Tannadice Park was much better and positive.

Tom Lawrence’s deft effort was enough to open the scoring and help win all three points for Clement despite the home side having their moments.
