It seems that Mateusz Bogusz has already said what will be needed to remove him from the LAFC this summer.

realizes that the champs are continuing to pursue Bogusz with an offer, but it is less than what the Major League Soccer team is asking for as they step up their late-summer hiring campaign. The Polish player, who received his first senior international call-up today, and Augsburg’s Arne Engels are being discussed by Celtic and Brighton in an effort to replace the midfield engine room gap created by the player’s record-breaking move.Mateusz Bogusz has told Celtic his non negotiable as LAFC star risks transfer deadline deja vu - Daily Record

The adaptable forward also acknowledged earlier this summer that, in order to get playing time, he took the risk of relocating to the United States following an injury-plagued stint at Leeds United and loan stints in lower leagues in Spain. The 23-year-old stated: “I’ve been playing a lot this season.

Naturally, I’m overjoyed about it, but that’s not why I came here. I didn’t come here to play off the bench or as a substitute. I’m here to support the squad, score goals, and dish out assists.

“While I have been playing as a center striker (number nine), my natural position is as an attacking midfielder. It makes no difference, though. I am simply delighted to be participating in the game that I became enamored of in Ruda Śląska as a little lad.”

He has mentioned that a deal to an unidentified Premier League team in January fell through, so he doesn’t seem to be opposed to leaving the MLS for a move to Europe. However, a promise of playing time in Scotland may be crucial in securing a move to Glasgow’s east end. When asked about a move to England in April, he responded to Melczyki as follows: “I will only say that there was not enough time for the transfer.” There are also signals from La Liga, so we’ll see what transpires in the summer.”

The deadline is drawing near, and he is running out of time to make his final relocation to Europe. On Friday night, Brendan Rodgers and the attacker will be praying it’s not deja vu.                                                                                                                                  GET MORE NEWS HERE
