Leeds United will not have the option to make Manor Solomon’s temporary deal permanent, according to David Ornstein.
The Athletic journalist reported via the outlet’s website on 24 August that the Tottenham attacker’s proposed switch to Elland Road will be a straight loan move.
The 25-year-old is set for a Whites medical the same day as he looks set to become the sixth summer signing at Elland Road, following Largie Ramazani’s purchase from Almeria.
Joe Rodon has also returned from Tottenham, while Joe Rothwell, Jayden Bogle and Alex Cairns are the sum of the business so far.
Leeds are expected to pay a significant part of Solomon’s wages [Yorkshire Evening Post, 23 August] after the Israeli rejected an offer to move to Getafe in La Liga [Fabrizio Romano, 23 August].

David Ornstein reports that Leeds United will not have the opportunity to extend Manor Solomon’s short-term contract.
On August 24, the Athletic journalist announced on the publication’s website that the Tottenham attacker’s intended transfer to Elland Road would be purely loan-based.
The 25-year-old is scheduled for a Whites physical on the same day that Largie Ramazani was acquired from Almeria, likely making him Elland Road’s sixth summer signing.
To date, the team consisting of Alex Cairns, Jayden Bogle, Joe Rothwell, and Joe Rodon has returned from Tottenham.
After the Israeli turned down a chance to join La Liga team Getafe, Leeds is anticipated to cover a substantial portion of Solomon’s salary [Yorkshire Evening Post, August 23] [Fabrizio Romano, August 23].
