Manager acknowledges £33 million target has not trained in anticipation of possible Everton transfer

It’s amusing what a football team can recover from a day of positive news. Even Everton, whose despair often descends like ominous clouds on a Merseyside winter’s night, has cause for celebration today.

Three goals and the team’s first victory of the season, albeit in the Carabao Cup against fourth-tier Doncaster Rovers.

Impressive performances from fellow newcomers Jake O’Brien and Jesper Lindstrom, a swaggering Tim Iroegbunam show, and a fantastic debut performance from Iliman Ndiaye in Everton colors.

In addition, Sean Dyche expressed his satisfaction with Seamus Coleman and James Garner’s increased recuperation from injuries, calling the two players “different class” as The Toffees’ superiority was evident in a second half that left Goodison Park in disarray.

Even if the team is now in a state of uncertainty with no Premier League points and little money to recruit new players, the potential takeover by American billionaire John Textor gives Everton more than just a way out of their current predicament.

Everton is interested in Lyon midfielder Orel Mangala.

HITC is aware that Orel Mangala is about to transfer to the North West from another of his club, Lyon, a French powerhouse. Textor, who needs to sell his Crystal Palace shares in order to complete his takeover of Everton, has arranged a deal for Mangala to leave Lyon.

Mangala left Nottingham Forest in January, but not before making a strong impression on the team.

Everton may have to pay roughly £33 million for a permanent deal in the future, according to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg. It’s hoped that Everton will have Textor’s support when it comes time to decide whether to pursue a full-time deal for the deft Belgian international.
