Luke McCowan, a lifelong Celtics supporter, has opened up about the conversation he had on transfer deadline day with Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers.
In a fairly astute move, the champions were able to acquire the midfielder’s services for £1 million plus add-ons.

The 26-year-old is a competent team member who possesses exceptional domestic ability.
After putting pen to paper, McCowan, who grew up cheering for Celtic, said it seemed weird to put on the recognizable green and white hoops.
Brendan Rodgers, the manager, thinks highly of McCowan, who is a bit of a late bloomer.
Although he began his career with Ayr United, he has spent the last few seasons playing for Dundee in the Championship and Premiership. But the Dens Park team’s midfielder has shown to be exceptional, and he more than merited his transfer to Glasgow.
