Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester Eye Fernandez-Pardo
Before the transfer deadline, Chris Wheatley reports that Gent forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo is being considered by Liverpool, Southampton, and Leicester City.
The Reds have not made any major additions to their roster as we approach the last week of the transfer window, as Arne Slot, who took over for Jurgen Klopp in the dugout, tries to avoid making drastic changes to his squad.
However, they are keeping an eye on a young forward from Belgium before the deadline of August 30th next week, but they will have to compete with Southampton and Leicester, two other Premier League teams, to sign him.
Matias Fernandez-Pardo Is Considering a Move to the Premier League
Child may depart Gent before to the transfer deadline.
There is now room for a young forward to join the team after Bobby Clark and Fabio Carvalho were allowed to depart Anfield on permanent deals to RB Salzburg and Brentford, respectively.

After managing five goals toward the end of the 2023–24 season, Fernandez-Pardo is currently drawing interest from a number of Premier League teams. There is speculation that he may be permitted to leave Gent before the transfer window shuts.
With Jamie Vardy,37, out for months due to injury, and Kelechi Iheanacho leaving the team at the end of his contract in the summer, Leicester is interested in adding a new forward to bolster their line-up. Southampton, on the other hand, has added forwards to their roster but is constantly searching for exceptional young talent to add to their group.
