Leeds United paid a fee to complete the last-minute transfer of Mohamed Belloumi.
According to A Bola, Leeds United has been informed that signing Farense attacker Mohamed Belloumi could cost them up to £5 million.
Online, the newspaper stated on August 27 that Joao Rodrigues, the club president, had proposed the sum in advance of a potential last-minute transfer.
However, Marseille and Club Brugge have also expressed interest in signing Daniel Farke, so it’s not just Daniel Farke’s team battling for his transfer.
Even though Leeds’ roster has added a number of players since the transfer window started, there are still a few positions that the team could use strengthening and upgrading.
Their wingers is one of those. Although the team has a number of wingers, further help is required in light of the losses of Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville.
Given that the two players in question were among Farke’s best, it is not surprising that they went for a combined sum of almost £65 million.
During the most productive season of his career, the Algerian scored seven goals and provided five assists to his teammates.

Though for £5 million, the offer seems too good to be true, nothing is set in stone just yet.
