The Gers were successful in the league on Sunday (15 September) as they managed to scrape past Dundee United in a 1-0 win.

Dessers chipped in with an assist but there were multiple times throughout the game where he could’ve bagged a goal for himself and made the Gers’ win more comfortable.

Speaking on the Daily Record’s Hotline Live (15 September), Jackson shared his thoughts on the Nigeria international.

“Dessers was again doing Dessers things today where he’s taking extra touches every time he’s in the six-yard box,” Jackson said.
