Crystal Palace appears to hold special meaning for Jose Mourinho.

Because of Mourinho’s longstanding admiration for the Eagles, some Crystal Palace supporters even thought the Portuguese strategist would be a suitable Roy Hodgson replacement.

But now, the Setubal native has defeated Crystal Palace to become a transfer target.

Following an unsuccessful approach to Crystal Palace, Jos Mourinho entices Filip Kostic to Fenerbahce.

Filip Kostic has now been linked to a loan deal with Fenerbahce and Juventus.

The transfer market in Turkey is open until Friday, September 13, and the Serbian international has signed a contract with the Turkish powerhouse that will keep him there until the end of the 2024–2025 season.
