Following a lackluster start to the season that included two draws against West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth, as well as a humiliating 3-0 loss to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup, Leeds United finally kicked off their 24/25 campaign with a 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday last time out.
In an attempt to finish in the top half of the division and earn a spot back in the Premier League following their heartbreaking near miss the previous season, the Championship promotion hopes will hope that they do not make any more serious mistakes.
Daniel Farke will probably have Largie Ramazani and Manor Solomon available for next-tier matches; Ramazani missed the Hillsborough victory, and Solomon will soon make an announcement. There’s a growing chance that another attacker will join the new pair inside the building before the month is out.
Leeds is trying to sign a replacement for Georginio Rutter.
In an effort to bolster their attacking positions even further, Leeds is reportedly considering hiring Queens Park Rangers star Ilias Chair, according to an exclusive report from Football Insider.
Since Georgia Rutter’s departure hasn’t been addressed with any new faces coming through the door, adding numbers to the number ten spot is now a priority, with Solomon and Ramazani providing sufficient support for the second tier side down the wings.
Chair’s contract is in its last year at Loftus Road, so that’s where he might potentially save the day. Football Insider has revealed that the West Yorkshire team is about to test QPR’s resolve about their Moroccan gem.
