BREAKING NEWS: Hamza Igamane pre-season risk emerges as Rangers close to new transfer

If Hamza Igamane decides to move to Ibrox this summer, he may miss Rangers’ preseason, the Scottish Sun reports.

On June 21, the tabloid revealed that although the 21-year-old AS FAR striker and the Glasgow club had reached an agreement on a four-year contract, things can go wrong when he starts practicing with his new teammates.

He has been a mainstay for the Moroccan under-23 team, and he won’t be allowed to participate in the preseason if he is selected for the Olympics.

It can take Hamza Igamane longer to get used to life at Rangers.

With no prior experience playing outside of his home country of Morocco, the 21-year-old striker will also have to adjust to living in Scotland and the physical demands of the Scottish Premiership.

It can be challenging and time-consuming to adjust to a new league, nation, and culture, which could have an impact on his on-field performance.

Building strength and fitness, learning about teammates’ playing styles, and becoming acquainted with the club’s strategies and facilities are just a few advantages of preseason training.

Without this time, Igamane would not adjust to life at Rangers as quickly as his teammates, which could put him at a disadvantage.

His status as a first-team regular is still up in the air, as this is not a name that will wow supporters or, in any case, improve the starting eleven.

The big additions should hopefully be done after Euro 2024, since the Germans desperately need to bolster their squad.

In other Rangers news, this summer Manchester United plans to make a surprise transfer move to get an attacker from the team.
