According to a claim in the Turkish media, Everton are putting up an offer for Besiktas attacker Semih Kılıçsoy.
Following his achievements for the Istanbul side last season the youngster has been linked with a move to the Premier League and more recently Everton.
Kontra Spor have reported on the latest developments surrounding the future of Kılıçsoy after reports last week that Everton are showing interest in the Turkish international.
They say the Premier League side are lining up a €20m deal for the 19-year-old ahead of the next transfer window. The Toffees are looking to convince Besiktas president Hasan Arat over a possible deal for the young forward, and it’s explained he’s at the choice stage over whether to sell one of the club’s prized assets.
Despite a lack of playing time in this campaign, Besiktas manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst recently said he’s happy with player, but such an offer could be tough to turn down.
Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle United have all been linked with Kılıçsoy in recent months.
Kılıçsoy started 20 Super Lig games last season, hitting 11 goals. He’s bound to the Black Eagles until June 2028.
