Everton insiders reveal Goodison stance on sacking Sean Dyche amid takeover
Everton insiders are unable to make a decision on Sean Dyche’s future while takeover discussions continue, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported on 20 September (page 84/85) that the manager currently has the backing of the Toffees hierarchy. With that being said, insiders have suggested that “they are ‘stuck in the mud’” in terms of making a decision while the takeover dealings are still up in the air.
If the 53-year-old was to leave Goodison Park, the club would look to hire “a similar type of manager”.

Everton can’t sack Sean Dyche amid takeover
The potential of new owners on Merseyside has been there for many months now and there is hope that a deal can be concluded soon.
Reports have suggested that there is a “90 per cent chance” that John Textor completes a purchase of the Toffees [Le Progres].
That must be taken with a pinch of salt given that the American must find a buyer for his 45 per cent stake in Crystal Palace before anything can happen.
It seems clear that Farhad Moshiri wants to move on and find a new buyer but that has proved difficult.
This has almost afforded Dyche some leeway on the pitch after a run of bad results to start the season have left many supporters frustrated.
