
Romain Esse has signed a new contract at Millwall.
The 19-year-old South Londoner’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of June.
Millwall have been determined to secure Esse to fresh terms and the England U19 international has now put pen to paper. The Lions have not revealed the length of those terms.

In an effort to sign Esse to new terms, Millwall was unwavering, and the England U19 international has now signed a contract. The duration of such terms has not been disclosed by the Lions.
Since his goal sealed the EFL Cup victory at Portsmouth earlier this month, Esse has been a mainstay in the starting lineup. The striker scored in the 4-3 loss at Bristol City as well.
To reach 50 in a Millwall shirt, the teenager needs to make five more appearances.
According to Millwall’s director of football Steve Gallen, “the club is very big business” in signing Romain to a multi-year contract. The statement illustrates our goals.
“Romain is a representative of all the young players at the football club, having graduated from the academy. Everyone can look forward to him and feel that they can advance through the ranks, even those in the U9s and U21s.
“I am very happy that he has decided to stay with us. I want to express my gratitude to Neil Harris and James Berylson for their unwavering support.
Esse has been a fixture in the first-team with his goal sealing the EFL Cup win at Portsmouth earlier this month. The attacker also netted in the 4-3 defeat at Bristol City.
