Harry Watling, a former coach at Glasgow Rangers and QPR, has been named manager of Ebbsfleet United.
Following their 4-0 loss at Altrincham, player Josh Wright was appointed interim manager for their 0-0 home draw with Aldershot, succeeding the fired Danny Searle.
Watling, 34, began his coaching career with Chelsea as an academy coach at the age of 20, making him one of the youngest coaches in England to obtain UEFA A, B, and Pro Licenses.
He has previously held administrative positions at West Ham and Millwall.
On Saturday, Watling will make his managerial debut against Hartlepool at home.
