Crystal Palace reach ‘total agreement’ with club for transfer – €60m deal considered done

Michael Olise, a star for Crystal Palace, is expected to sign a contract with Bayern Munich after the two parties came to an agreement.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that Crystal Palace will profit from the sale to the tune of about €60 million.

According to reports that surfaced yesterday night, Olise rejected a move to the Premier League in favour of joining Bayern, who had first approached Crystal Palace in an attempt to reach a deal with him.

After reaching a personal agreement with the winger, they initiated talks with Crystal Palace, who grudgingly consented to a sale.

Plettenberg now claims that Bayern Munich and Crystal Palace have reached a complete agreement on a transaction estimated to be valued at €60 million.

Plettenberg said that he is expected to ink a long-term deal with the German powerhouses, which he hopes would last until 2029.

That’s not definitive, and he only says that there is a verbal agreement in place with Olise; he doesn’t disclose anything about Olise’s possible salary at Bayern either.

This implies that not much is left for the deal to close and for him to go from Crystal Palace to Bayern very soon.

According to BILD’s additional information, following lengthy negotiations with Crystal Palace on Friday night, Bayern activated Olise’s release clause. The only thing left to do for the transfer to proceed is supervisory board clearance.
