The 23-year-old attacker from Senegal even posted an Instagram update this week, seemingly yearning for Auchenhowie’s grass as the team returned to practice this week.
However, such is the nature of football, and the Brighton loanee has had to deal with the fact that he is not officially a Rangers player.
It’s possible that Abdallah Sima wants to rejoin the Rangers, and the team may even want to sign him, but as we both know, things are never that simple.
Now that Brighton has made a £33 million Premier League bid for the attacker, a potentially significant domino in Rangers’ transfer chase for the player may be set to fall.
