Daniel Kelly will make his debut in tonight’s EFL Cup second round matchup between Millwall and Leyton Orient, according to head coach Neil Harris.
Last week, the 18-year-old midfielder joined the Lions.
After Sammy Wilson left Celtic in 1959, Kelly is the first player from that team to play for Millwall.Additionally, summer recruit Macaulay Langstaff and winger Femi Azeez, who was signed from Reading last week, start.
Lukas Jensen is replaced in goal by Liam Roberts, who shut out Portsmouth in the previous round.
Millwall: Bryan, Kelly, Saville, Emakhu, Azeez, Emakhu, McNamara, Hutchinson, Wallace, and Langstaff. Jensen, Cooper, Tanganga, Leonard, Watmore, De Norre, Esse, and Massey are the substitutes.
Hemming, James, Sweeney, Cooper, Agyei, Warrington, Pratley, Beckles, Perkins, Jaiyesimi, and Obiero are the members of Leyton Orient. Howes, Simpson, Brown, O’Neill, Galbraith, Kelman, Clare, and Sterling are the substitutes.
