Injury expert opens up on potential ‘red flags’ as Tottenham chase 23-year-old defender

This summer, Tottenham Hotspur has been linked to a transfer for Vanderson, the defender for Monaco.

Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert in injuries, thinks Vanderson should have no trouble passing Tottenham’s medical check.

The North London team has completed some amazing transfers throughout the current window. Tottenham has been able to check off the most of the boxes despite their selective approach to transfers. They signed Dominic Solanke, a striker of the highest caliber, and added a few young players who will benefit them both now and down the road.

In order to further bolster their defense, Spurs are currently trying to sign Vanderson from AS Monaco before the transfer window closes. Although injuries to his knee and hip from the previous season have cast doubt on his fitness, Dr. Rajpal Brar, a physical therapist and sports scientist, believes the 23-year-old should have no trouble passing the Tottenham medical if they are able to reach an agreement with the French team.

The North London team is a little thin on the right flank after Emerson Royal left for AC Milan, so Vanderson’s signing will give their squad more depth and talent. His arrival will give Ange Postecoglou more tactical choices because of his versatility, in addition to giving Pedro Porro competition for a spot in the starting XI.

The Brazilian international’s knee and hip ailments from the previous season seem to have been of a moderate degree, according to Dr. Brar. The fact that both injuries happened at distinct points during the campaign suggests that they weren’t a result of a chain reaction. He believes Vanderson will thus have no trouble passing the Spurs medical, as the team is prepared to make a £25.4 million offer for his services.
