With the South Wales derby between Cardiff City and Swansea City yet to be played on Sunday, the Championship action resumed on Saturday. Both Millwall and QPR gained a point on Saturday, extending their respective wins streaks in the league.
While QPR suffered a painful loss at home against a Plymouth Argyle team that finished the game with nine players, the Lions secured a significant away point against Hull City. We have compiled all of the most recent information about the Championship clubs as both parties assess their efforts.
Kevin Nisbet, a forward for Millwall, has found a new temporary team and has agreed to play this season on loan with Aberdeen.According to the Daily Record, the Dons and Millwall have a complete agreement in place, and this weekend is scheduled for the medical.
After signing a three-year contract to join Millwall from Hibs, the Scotland international forward scored five goals in 27 games during the previous campaign. Nisbet, 27, will now return to Scotland, albeit temporarily for the time being, as it doesn’t seem that he is in Neil Harris’ plans.
Leeds accepts the Spurs agreement.
Manor Solomon, a Tottenham target, is rumoured to have agreed to a deal with Leeds United as they look to bolster their assault in the wake of Georginio Rutter and Crystal Summerville’s exits. Solomon has reportedly accepted Leeds’ offer and turned down ones from both England and overseas, according to HITC.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Solomon had declined an offer from Getafe in an attempt to stay in England, but that he had made the decision to leave North London behind. Although the specifics of the agreement are unknown, it is rumoured that Norwich City, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Sheffield United were interested in signing Solomon.
Chair inclination
Keeping with Leeds, Football Insider states that the Whites want to finalise a transfer for Ilia Chair, a star for QPR, during the late window. Chair has reportedly been touted as a potential replacement for Georginio Rutter, the number 10 position held by Leeds.
Given that Chair’s contract is coming to an end, the Hoops will have to fight to hold onto him. Leeds is predicted to “test QPR’s resolve” as they attempt to hang onto the playmaker.
