He has looked strong and made several top-class saves, easing concerns about a potential recurrence of his shoulder injury.What adds an intriguing layer to the situation is who Eddie Howe will choose as Pope’s backup. Both Martin Dubravka and Odysseas Vlachodimos played a half each against Stade Brestois, making it uncertain who will secure the spot on the bench.
