Celtic defender Alex Valle is set to start for the Hoops in Sunday’s match against Ross County.
It comes amidst Greg Taylor’s calf issue. He has been withdrawn at half-time of the Celts’ last two games, with Valle coming on in the process.
The Spanish left-back has done himself no harm with his performances.
He set up Adam Idah with a clever backheel for the SPFL’s September Goal of the Month against St. Johnstone last weekend before coming on midweek versus Dortmund.
The Barcelona loanee was introduced when his side was 5-1 down, and although he gave away the ball for Felix Nmecha to get the Germans’ seventh of the night, he didn’t do much else wrong.
Unlike many of his teammates, Valle showed grit and determination versus Dortmund and now deserves his chance tomorrow.
