This summer, Celtic launched a last-ditch effort to sign Gustav Isaksen of Lazio. The team of Brendan Rodgers made a bid to sign him on a loan with a purchase obligation.
The Denmark international is staying with the Serie A team since he had no interest in joining Celtic. He started for the first time this season in Monday’s 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona for his team.
