The request of Rangers supporters to attend tomorrow’s Dundee United match in a full stand tifo has been rejected.
Gers fans made a request in order to have a sizable display in the away end at Tandadice for the Premiership match. The tifo and “other supporter materials intended to enhance the atmosphere” are not allowed, since it has now been discovered that the attempt has been blocked.
Rangers SLO Greg Marshall expressed his dismay at the decision in a statement. According to him, his team is still dedicated to collaborating with other teams around the nation to enhance game environments.”We regret that our request for a complete stand tifo and other supporter materials meant to improve the atmosphere at this match was turned down,” he stated. We are still dedicated to collaborating with Scottish clubs to improve the fan experience in order to advance the Scottish game.”
Supporters were also given the following advice: “Flags should not be larger than two meters by one meter. Supporters are notified that when the areas are full, they might not be allowed admission. Please notice that there is limited space for flags and banners to be displayed. Flags that are denied entrance have nowhere to be stored.”
