John Textor expects Everton takeover agreement with Farhad Moshiri within 4 weeks

According to The Guardian, John Textor thinks he can reach an agreement to purchase Everton from Farhad Moshiri in the next four weeks.

On September 10, the newspaper said on its website that after being given exclusive negotiation rights, the American is “confident” he can close a deal with the Toffees main shareholder in a matter of months.

He is the sixth party to have reached an exclusivity agreement with Moshiri; he comes after Dan Friedkin, who withdrew from a takeover in the summer over unresolved debts to 777 Partners, the party that came before him.

Dan Friedkin was replaced by John Textor in the Everton takeover image.

While striking an agreement with Moshiri is undoubtedly an important step in the process, it’s also maybe one of the easier ones Textor has to deal with in a complex situation.

Though those close to the process are rumored to not consider him a serious bidder, not everyone shares his confidence in his potential ownership of the Toffees.

In contrast, others anticipate that Friedkin will eventually make a comeback, according to Paul Brown on August 29. However, as things stand, it appears like Textor is abusing his exclusive deal and pushing forward from the lead.
