Official: Chelsea’s Billy Gee joins Norwich City
Billy Gee, a teenage player in the Chelsea Academy, decided to quit the team permanently and join Norwich City on Transfer Deadline Day. The 19-year-old signed a four-year contract with the Canaries, although he still had one year left on his original professional contract with Chelsea. The conditions of the transfer were not made public, however it is unlikely that there will be a charge greater than a nominal sum, with the possibility of future compensation (sell-ons or add-ons) included.
born in South London As he advanced through the ranks, Gee played in both central defense and midfield for the Chelsea Academy, having joined at the U8 level. He has received caps for England at the U19 level and was called up to the first team for a substitute appearance in the League Cup final against Liverpool the previous year.
“I’m overjoyed that a new chapter has begun. I’m prepared for the upcoming task.
As the captain of the Chelsea Under-21 team the previous season, I believe I can contribute both leadership qualities and a great deal of on-the-ball skill. I’m hoping to make a splash and strive to make the first squad.

Following their sixth-place finish and participation in the promotion playoffs, Norwich City had a dismal start to the new campaign, going winless in their first three league games and losing in the League Cup.
Billy Gee might not make their starting lineup right away, but maybe he can make an impression and generate a stir soon.
Billy, good bye!
