With the transfer window getting closer to the day it closes, the Celtic fans will have mixed emotions about it reaching its conclusion over the next nine days.
The need to strengthen the team is clear and many Celtic fans believe that time is running out to do that.
However, on the flip side of that, with interest in Matt O’Riley from Brighton motoring on to an eventual conclusion and reports that Man City want Kyogo Furuhashi, the Celtic fans will also be desperate to see the window close if it means that their top players will remain in Paradise beyond the summer.
However, one rumour that has been doing the rounds is that Celtic is potentially interested in Man United youngster, Hannibal Medjbri.
Journalist has ‘only heard’ of Celtic’s Medjbri interest
The Tunisian seems to be on his way out of Old Trafford and to get further insight on just how interested Celtic are in the youngster, 67 Hail Hail contacted the Strategic & Operational Head of Football for HITC & TBR, Graeme
Bailey.
Bailey said, “Only heard interest – think a move to Championship is most likely from what I am told – Burnley favourites but Leeds in for him too.”
Medjbri joined United in a £9.3m deal back in 2019 as a young 16-year-old from Monaco. Despite being capped 27 times for his country at just 21, Medjbri has struggled to make his mark at the English Premier League giants and now looks set to move on.
