£27m Tottenham player exploring move to Saudi Arabia after failing to leave before the deadline

Ange Postecoglou spoke last season about the need for change at the club and he certainly got that as a number of big signings arrived and players left.

In terms of those outgoings, Postecoglou moved the likes of Pierre-Emile-Hojbjerg, Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil on and in turn, landed big names like Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert.

Likewise, Spurs also brought in Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall who both impressed in pre-season.

But back to the outgoings, and it looks like Postecoglou could also be about to wave goodbye to anothe

Ange Postecoglou mentioned last season that the team needed change, and he most definitely received it as several key players left and were replaced.

Regarding such departures, Postecoglou signed major names like Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert while moving on players like Pierre-Emile-Hojbjerg, Ryan Sessegnon, and Bryan Gil.

Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, who both made an impression in the preseason, were also added by the Spurs.

Returning to the outgoings, however, it appears that Postecoglou may also be ready to bid farewell to a different player.

Looking at a move to Saudi Arabia, Sergio Reguilon wants out of Tottenham.
Sergio Reguilon is still looking to leave Tottenham, according to Spanish publication AS, even though he was unable to find a replacement before the deadline.

Reguilon is reportedly interested in Saudi Arabia, Portugal, and Turkey—but perhaps most intriguingly, Turkey.

when everyone is aware, the Saudi Pro League was very active again this summer, signing Ivan Toney just when it appeared he might finally be moving on to a top four team.

Additionally, Al-Ahli is still interested in signing Victor Osimhen, who was rejected by Chelsea.

Reguilon will therefore be hoping that before their deadline in a few days, one of the Saudi teams with large sums of money steps forward.

Reguilon must relocate permanently.
Sergio Reguilon used to appear to be a capable left-back, but in more recent years, he has simply faded away.

Now, all the £27 million signing needs to do is take care of himself; if he decides to transfer to Saudi Arabia, that’s fantastic for him.

Reguilon will continue to envision himself playing at a higher level, but he may also envision himself doing so given the financial incentives in the Middle East.

Therefore, Tottenham appears to still have work to be done.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Sergio Reguilon is still looking to leave Tottenham despite failing to get a move before the deadline.

It’s reported how Reguilon has interest in Turkey, Portugal and more intriguingly, Saudi Arabia.

As we know, the Saudi Pro League was once again a huge player this summer and they signed Ivan Toney when it looked like he’d finally get a move to a top four club.

Al-Ahli are also still looking at signing Victor Osimhen who missed out on a move to Chelsea.

Reguilon, then, will be hoping one of the cash-rich Saudi clubs comes forward before their deadline in a few days.

There was a time when Sergio Reguilon looked a good player at left-back but he’s just fallen away in recent times.

The £27m signing now needs to just look after himself really and if a move to Saudi comes about, then good for him.

Reguilon will still fancy himself in terms of playing at a different level but with the money on offer in the Middle East, he might well fancy that as well.

Tottenham, then, look like they still have business to do
