Leeds head into the first international break of the season with back-to-back victories thanks to goals from Mateo Joseph and Joel Piroe.

Aside from a couple of half-chances on the break, Leeds looked pretty comfortable throughout the 90 minutes but were forced to be patient for their opener.

Leeds has won two straight games going into the season’s first international break, thanks to goals from Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph.

Leeds were quite at ease for the whole ninety minutes, save for a handful of half-chances after halftime, but they had to wait patiently for their opening.

It finally arrived in the sixty-third minute when Joseph headed in a gorgeous cross from Manor Solomon to score his first goal of the year. This will be really beneficial to him.

Joel Piroe, a substitute who has struggled this season due to rumors that he was part of a player-plus-cash bid for Gustavo Hamer, secured the win with a superb finish on the counter.

After a hectic few days in the transfer window, Daniel Farke picked three of his four new acquisitions in the starting lineup for the match at Elland Road.

Largie Ramazani and Ao Tanaka were both introduced as second half substitutes, while Solomon was handed a full debut in the absence of Dan James.

And it did not take Solomon to show what he was all about, with his assist for Joseph capping a fine first appearance in which he looked sharp from the start.
